The Horns Pub is Probably the best live music venue in Watford.
What Happens at the Horns…
Line up.
We have regular live music sessions throughout the week with cover bands, music nights, tribute and original bands performing regularly.
Monday Night 8.00pm until 11pm.
OverDrive – A Night of bands performing their original songs.
Tuesday 6.00pm until 10.00pm.
We host an evening of open mic sessions for young bands and artists.
Wednesday nights.
Open mic night with great musical talents.

Thursday nights.
We have our tribute band night.
Great tribute bands cover the greatest artists from Abba to Thin Lizzy.

Friday nights.
On Fridays one of our popular DJ’s hosts dancing music old and new for all ages to enjoy.
First Friday of the month stars Reggae night with Selector Stix and DJ Hollywood.
Saturday nights.
Saturday nights often feature a fantastic cover or party band set.
The Horns’ own, all-time favourite “The House Band” also regularly take to the stage for the Saturday night slot.
Our great Saturday bands never fail to thrill as they pump out memorable hits that we all know and love to an eager music-loving crowd.
Sunday Lunch Time.
On Sunday the Horns host the now famous Sunday lunchtime dinner cabaret.
A Trad Jazz band accompanies your Traditional Sunday Roast or alternative vegetarian meal
with the family or friends at your reserved table.
Sunday afternoon also features another great free live music session with one of the all-time
Pub favourites such as The Shuffling Hungarians, The Good Old Boys or the immortal Zimmerman.
Sunday Evening.
Sunday evenings are band trial nights. This session is for established bands that want to try us out and let us hear what they have to offer our Horns regular music-loving crowd.

We have helped numerous people solve their “where to have” that special party! Sometimes we can organise a late license until 2am if the occasion is special enough!! In the present economic climate, a party at The Horns could be the answer – AND save you a lot of expense as we don’t charge any hire fees!

50th Birthday Party.
“I held my 50th birthday party at the Horns and it was fantastic – great venue for a party with
dancing and a great band. The staff laid on a great buffet which was very reasonably priced
and the quality and quantity, for 100 guests, was excellent. The area was informally
segregated so only my guests got to the eats. Had I hired a venue and band and laid on food,
it would have cost me about 5 times as much. I would have had to get the venue ready,
brought the food and cleared up afterwards. Also, how many venues stay open beyond 12.00
midnight? And there is plenty of (cheap) parking”

30th Birthday Party
“The Horns was a perfect place for a birthday bash, we pre-booked a week in advance and
had an area reserved for us. There were a few tables so we could sit and chat if we wanted as
well as room to dance to the live music too! The company was good and the entertainment
was fantastic. It was a great night all round.”

very much needed! I have attached a photo of half of our group. I’m not actually in it as I was
taking it! Sorry I didn’t get to meet you (the manager) either… I wanted to buy you a drink to
